Shoe Recycling

Old shoes are always a shame to throw into the trash. Most of the time they are still some what usable. So our first option in shoe recycling is to see if they are reusable. If they are we will usually donate your shoes to a local non profit. That way hopefully someone less fortunate will be able to take advantage of your discarded shoes. If the shoes are not reusable we will separate the rubber from the fabric. Once in this state both material types will be shredded separately. Now that they are broken down the raw materials can used as track surfaces, interlocking gym flooring tiles, or playground surfacing. The fabric portion can be mixed into wood flooring surfaces that have synthetics elements.
