Plastic, Wood, Glass, and Metal Recycling

E-Cycle Environmental has invested a lot of time and money to create an all-in-one solution to divert your company's bulky waste from landfill. Below is a list of the waste that we will recycle and how we handle it.

Processes in Recycling Plastic, Wood, Glass, and Metal

Plastic Recycling

Will be sorted into plastic type by color and chemistry. From that point it will be bailed and smelted to into a new reusable form. Please keep in mind that unfortunately some inexpensive plastics are not recyclable and will have to be sent to landfill. Our current landfill plastic diversion rate is 85% and as more recycling technologies present themselves we hope to improve to 100%.

Wood Recycling

Will be mulched and used as ground cover or in other wood products. Due to the chemicals used to create pressed and treated wood will limit there ability to be recycled. They will either be turned into waste to energy, reused, or as a last resort land filled.

Glass Recycling

Will be separated in glass by color and chemistry. From that point the glass will be crushed and melted into a reusable form.

Metal Recycling

Will be separated by ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It will then be bailed and processed into its original commodity type. From that point it will be introduced to the commodities market.

Large Equipment

Will be prepped and put through one of or shredders. Our larger shredders have the capability of shredding a car whole. So nothing is too big or small. After the shredding process the materials will be separated into clean commodity streams through an automated process. The clean materials will then be introduced to the commodities market.
